#MoraMoja Instagram Competition – Terms and Conditions
- Organizer
The #MoraMoja Instagram Competition (the “Competition”) is organized by TUI Hotel Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, Karl-Wiechert-Allee 23, 30625 Hannover, Germany, trading as The Mora Hotels. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who are either:
- Past guests of The Mora Hotels, or
- Have a confirmed reservation and are staying at The Mora Hotels within 01 – 10 June 2025.
Employees of The Mora Hotels, TUI Group companies, their subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Competition Period
Entries will be accepted from 20:00 EAT on 1 June 2025 until 16:00 EAT on 10 June 2025. Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.
- Entry Requirements
To enter, participants must:
- Share their favorite memory from The Mora Hotels as an Instagram feed post, carousel, or reel (Instagram Stories are not eligible).
- Tag @TheMoraHotels and include the hashtag #MoraMoja in the caption.
- Ensure their Instagram profile is public during the competition period to allow for entry verification.
Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is unique. Duplicate or substantially similar entries may be disqualified at The Mora Hotels’ discretion.
- Selection Process & Prize
A jury panel of The Mora Hotels team members will shortlist five entries based on creativity, storytelling, and engagement metrics (likes and comments). One winner will then be selected by the jury.
The prize is a 5-night All-Inclusive stay for two at The Mora Zanzibar, valid for 12 months from the announcement date. Redemption is subject to availability and blockout dates.
Please note: The prize does not include international or domestic travel, visa fees, transfers, or any additional costs outside the accommodation offer. These expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be provided.
- Winner Announcement
The winner will be announced via Instagram post and story on 11 June 2025 (The Mora Hotels’ first official anniversary). The winner will also be contacted via Instagram Direct Message. If the winner fails to respond within 7 days, a new winner may be selected.
- Use of Entries & Intellectual Property Rights
By entering the competition, participants confirm that they:
- Own all rights to the submitted content (image, video, text);
- Have obtained permission from all identifiable individuals featured.
Participants grant The Mora Hotels and TUI Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, and display the submitted content across all platforms, including:
- Social media
- Websites
- Print and digital marketing
- Paid advertising
- Internal communications
- Television and digital screens
This license includes the right to edit, partially use, and share content with or without credit. It may also be sublicensed to TUI Group affiliates and appointed service providers. However, the scope of this license is limited to promotional and marketing activities related to The Mora Hotels. For any use beyond this scope, separate consent will be obtained.
- Privacy & Data Use
Participants’ personal data will be processed in accordance with The Mora Hotels’ Privacy Policy.
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their data for competition administration and marketing communications related to The Mora Hotels.
- Disqualification & Limitation of Liability
The Mora Hotels reserves the right to disqualify entries that:
- Violate these terms,
- Contain inappropriate or offensive content, or
- Are deemed fraudulent.
Participants are solely responsible for the legality and originality of their submissions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Mora Hotels will not be held liable for:
- Lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete entries;
- Technical errors or malfunctions;
- Any loss, damage, or disappointment arising from participation or use of the prize.
Nothing in these terms shall exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
This competition is intended for participants residing in jurisdictions where such competitions are legally permissible. Each participant is subject to the laws of their country of residence.
Any disputes arising in connection with this competition shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the participant’s place of residence, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory consumer protection regulations.
- Compliance with Platform Rules
This competition is hosted on Instagram and must comply with Instagram’s terms of use and promotion guidelines. Participants are responsible for ensuring they understand and follow the platform’s rules when entering.
