Amazing food and outstanding service from Simon!
The food was absolutely amazing — everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed our evening. A special mention goes to Simon, who provided outstanding service. He was extremely friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. Simon truly made our experience even better. Unforgettable stay in the Mora Zanzibar
The location is great, but what makes this place different is the friendly staff. The generate the type of atmosphere that make you feel comfortable the very first moment we arrived. Rooms are very spacious and comfortables. Very reasonable value since the food is great with so many options and the beach has the local vibe that make The Mora unique!! The beautiful Mora
An ideal place to relax after a safari. The hotel lived up to our expectations. Rooms were spacious with everything you needed. Gardens were beautiful with 2 pools and a beach to enjoy. There are lots of steps but there are buggies if you are less able. Food was varied, plentiful and delicious. The biggest compliment goes to the staff of the Mora. Wonderful post safari chill out
The hotel and staff are amazing. From the first moment we arrived until the last day it was superb. Our flight was delayed. So we got to the hotel quite late. We were told to leave all our stuff in reception and one of the staff drove us down to dinner in an electric buggy. He then waited for us to finish dinner then took us back to reception to complete check in. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The selection of food in the restaurants is amazing. Freshly cooked meals fruit and vegetables. There was so much choice. There was never a rush to eat and leave and there was always a table available. The rooms are spacious clean and very well equipped. I noticed after a couple of nights that housekeeping would come back during the evening and sort out your bed and room for when you come back. Lights on mosquito net pulled around the bed and covers turned down. The entertainment was top quality. The one thing I would note is that there are a lot of stairs and no lifts to get up to the second floor rooms. Not a problem for us at all but I’m guessing the less able are able to use the electric buggies by the staff. Every one was so friendly. Sitting by the pool on our last day one of the gardening staff gave my wife a bouquet of flowers from the gardens and they gave me a handmade coconut leaf hat. Which I managed to get home to the UK! There was always sunbeds available and the views were stunning. We preferred the Garden pool with the swim up bar and the water wasn’t as cold as the main pools. The sunbeds are padded as well! If you venture down to the beach you can use the hotel sunbeds there and the local hawkers are not allowed past a certain line in the sand so you can enjoy the beach without be constantly pestered. Be aware though that if you venture down to the sea then they will pounce but on the whole they sort of left you alone if you made it clear you’re not interested. I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough. They made a wonderful end to our safari holiday. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to relax after a safari on the mainland. Best in zanzibar
The Mora is the best hotel I ever visit .the staff welcomed us so well .the rooms were always on point.the lady by the name of Kelebek she was amazing friendly helpful gorgeous supierive helping me to get ready to beach event .that was amazing u really enjoyed myself here hopefully I will come back and with my friends and family members 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶👌👌👌👌
